Ingredients

30 slice white bread

4 ¾ ounces margarine, softened

2 pounds American cheese slices

2 pounds sliced ham

Instructions

Melt margarine on stove or in microwave

Place one slice of American cheese on each side of bread. Top every other slice with 2 oz of ham. Close to make sandwiches.

Butter each side of the bread that will be grilled with melted margarine, covering the slice corner to corner.

Grill each side until golden brown and cheese is melted

Yield: 15 serving

Service ideas: Cut in half to form two triangles. Place uncut sides together on the plate for a nice presentation and add a garnish (pickle, parsley, tomato slice)

Swiss cheese is a nice substitute for a change.
